Hi everyone! Today I am going to tell How to check whether your phone is safe?
Usually when we are going to buy a phone we only look upon on how much MP is the camera, screen size, ram etc. But only a few of us try to know about the amount of radiations emitted by our phone. But it's hard time that we take it seriously.
Incoming and outgoing calls in our phone takes place through radio waves. These radio waves are harmful to our tissues. It can lead brain tumor. Researches say that one who spends half an hour on his/her phone has 40%+ chance of getting cancer compared to other people. Think for a sec on how much time you use your phone everyday.
Radiations emitted by your phone can be measured by knowing your phones SAR value. Now what is SAR value?
It is the short form of Specific Absorption Rate. It is a measure of the rate that body tissue absorbs radiation during cell phone use. The govt allows the sale of phones with SAR value upto 1.6. There are two types of SAR values.
1. SAR value for head - This is the radiation absorbed by our body when we use it close to our head mainly when calling.
2. SAR value for body - This is the radiation absorbed by our body when we keep our phone in our pocket etc.
We usually buy a phone which is cheap. But we don't think about the radiations emitted by these phones. So how to prevent the harmful effects of these radiations. One way is to use headsets for calling. But don't use wireless headphones. Use wired headphones during calling. And also try to keep a distance from your phone while using them. These radiations are very harmful for small kids as their body tissues are weak.
Now how to know the SAR value of your phone?
1. One way is to go to your dialer and type *#07#. Your phones SAR value(s) will be displayed.
2. If the above method doesn't work then just google sar value of + "your phone ". Google will display your phone's sar value. So you can check whether your phone's radiations emitted is dangerous.
So if you are going to buy a new phone and you have decided which model to buy then pls do check it's SAR value in google. Try to buy a phone with low SAR value.
